2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I like the vagueness of the descriptions in the link to the sidesteps - if they are purely bolt on how come it takes 1 or 2 spanners (surely 1 is enough unless there are 2 of you under the car putting the steps on) and that it takes about 45 minutes A SIDE to put them on. Now if they are straight bolt-on jobs with no cutting mud flaps or body trim (LR ones require some panel cutting I believe) surely 30 minutes total would be enough to bolt them on so what are you supposed to be doing with the other other "about" an hour? Even I with 2 left hands each with 5 thumbs should be able to fit 2 side steps in 30 minutes if they are purely bolt ons, after all I can change all 4 wheels on my 90 in less than 40 minutes without breaking out into a sweat.
There is only one problem I can see with fitting the side steps - can you still get the jack in without dismantling them if you need to change a wheel at the roadside? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Ah yes - unravelling the miles of brown plastic tape to get into the box and then unwrapping all the bubble pack protection once you have got in - didn't think of that! Bow down 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
