Defender Offroad Special For Sale - Big Boy's Toy !

Defender Offroad Spec 300tdi For Sale (aka Big Boy's Toy)

Why run the risk of trashing your RRS offroad when for the cost of a set of Stormers, you could own a brilliant Defender for Offroad fun and jolity (plus a great vehicle for taking muddy dogs to the woods or rubbish down to the tip) !

Top spec Defender 300tdi for sale with every conceivable offroad extra already professionally installed. In brief this vehicle is a 300tdi Defender hard top station wagon that was professionally converted by Devon 4x4 into the ultimate offroad machine. Full roll cage, front winch (warn 8274) rear winch (warn 9000) snorkel, GPS, cubby, CB, tank guard, rear ARB diff lock, compressor, Simex jungle treckers etc etc etc

See picture at http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic11690.html or ask anyone who was at Weardale this weekend what a great tool this vehicle is.

Full MOT and 6 months tax.

A mere £5,000 - which is about a quarter of what she cost

OK Cliff, I am not very good at these things. Try linking to the link again, then follow the link there to the photo. Tim has a couple of shots of the vehicle in his photos on the events section about the Weardale Offroad meet (both in the RRS and D3 sites).

The vehicle only has 2 seats. There is a Hannibal Locking Cubby box where the centre seat should be, which has all the winch controls and diff lock controls mounted thereon. The rear has a false aluminium floor throughout, under which is stored all the hi-lift, strops, ground anchors, ropes, tools etc etc etc

The vehicle is the dogs danglies and was placed in the top 3 in various competitions in recent years including the Muddy Truckers, The Bulldog and The Argyll Forest Challenge. She does have a number of battle scars, but is a good driver and performs well on road and brilliantly off road. And to build a similar vehicle would take many many 1,000's of pounds and 100's of hours work !

I am selling her because I have moved on to other big boy's games needing different toys Thumbs Up RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

If you wanna see a video of the Truck in action, check out :

http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic11677-30.html

And by the way, that slope is really a lot steeper than it looks on the video. At least a couple of sections of free fall in there, the second one landing on its nose after about 1 metre verticle drop. The Truck just loves it Thumbs Up RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini
