Just IN
The Monaro Highway is closed, owing to Snow, between Michelago and Williamsdale.
I don't remember it ever being closed there before. Shocked

At Peakview we've had to park everything except the quad bike and we'll probably end up dumping it in the end.

12" of snow at 3.00pm and still snowing very heavily into the evening.

Haven't had this type of weather since the late 60's Very Happy

I think even 4wd's need to carry tyre chains into the National Park........check with workingdog as to how he got on with this issue.
You were dead right............goodbye el nino

The forecast for the coast is 100+ kmh winds and 5-8m seas.
As I am perched up on a cliff top overlooking the ocean it should be an interesting next few days. Laughing Laughing

Hi guys,

Chains still not mandatory in KNP but are if you travel in any of the Victorian Alpine regions, you must carry them. I still haven't found a solution, but then again I am still waiting for the TDV8 to arrive Sad , so will make do with the Sahara in the meantime.

Not that it would help on nights like tonight - the Monaro highway is closed to everyone including 4x4's Just a white TDV8 with a few extras
