"puting the final touches" "goes on sale 2012" Usual kind of LR speed then Rolling Eyes Laughing
"pushing the £100k mark" Shocked just hope that LR aren't getting to big headed, all pointers are that the FL2 is not selling well enough as the price is too high, surely there is even a limit FFRR buyers will go to also.

I wonder that by keeping the weight down and a few tweaks with the engine they could fall within the Congestion Charge upper CO2 limit. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I think that looks quite good. Bit of a cross between the sport and the FF. Also similar to the Stormer design. Perhaps there will only be one body and numerous specs ie. luxury and sporty.
That will work especially in aluminium. The glue/alloy technology comes from Aston so is well tested.
Sadly by then I will be well retired and won't have the need for an upgrade whether I want one or not. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

I think it looks awesome, although it will probably be toned down a bit tho by the time its launched!
I reckon, if I sell my 2 month TDV8 RRS now I might just about be able to make the deposit for it in 2012+. Laughing

At £100,000. That's nearly double the Australian price now. Shocked
So.................
double the luxury car tax
double the GST...............
Sorry boys..............wrong move Big Cry

One of the key benefits in Australia of the RRS is it's value.
I hope it doesn't follow this proposed pricing structure.
Perhaps Land Rover is going the way of Jaguar with less volume but more profit per unit.
I hope not.
At "nearly the price of a Bentley " I'll buy a mini, a new fender and a top line jap 4wd and still be in front.

I would think they want to distance the FFRR from the RRS in terms of price - make the ffrr more exclusive! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Rimini Red

Guys, if the rate of inflation is 5% per year and the FFRR is 70k now the price will be 90k in 2012. So a 100k is not that outlandish by then.

Oh, and I think it looks good.

I'm a bit worried. I saw the new X5 and loved it. I saw the new RR and hated it. Big Cry 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE
