Qatar 2007 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Buckingham Blue
Exhaust Tips for our RRS HSEs

Dear All,

I came accross the following 2.5" (inlet), 12" overall diameter Exhaust Tips on:

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/performa...partid=189

They claim to fit the 2007 Land Rover Range Rover by FLOWMASTER

Will it work to cut off my short downward-bended HSE exhaust tip and attach this one instead
for a SuperCharged look?

They are $40 a piece Smile

It does say Range Rover and not Range Rover Sport - and I'm not sure if both cars have the same bore pipes. I'd check that first...

I agree,

If the pipes dia. do match up, will that work? Will it give the Super Charge look?
Or I need to change the location of the CAT-BACK all together?

I don't believe there's any need to change anything other than the tips to make it "look like" an SC.... it depends on whether you want to imitate the SC's pipes or just go for your own look. There are several options out there.... a lot of folks think that the standard SC pipes are a bit small given the type/size of car.

See MDPs gallery for some ideas of what is possible! Thumbs Up

There was a recent group buy of tips for the D3 on our sister site. These are very basic tips but might be what you are looking for.

I don't think so VA.

These are mere TIP emulations. not even real tips!

I'd stick to the FLOWMASTER at $41 a piece. Like Shmoogle said, I just need to make sure
the pipe diameter fits.

Can anyone tell me please what is the diameter on our HSEs?

I agree also. I prefer oval ones and slightly larger then the SC.

About the diameter, just measure the tailpipe and calculate the diameter! It's simple trigonometry if you still remember anything from highschool... i don't! Embarassed Laughing

Circumference = Pi (3.14) times Diameter (C=pD)

Diameter = 2 times the Radius (D=2R)

Area = Pi times the radius squared (A=pr2

You've just jogged an old memory Wink

A maths teacher always used to say we could remember the formula for the area of a circle by repeating "this little joke" (his words, the self-satisfying little Censored ):

"Pi-r-squared, no they're not they're round"

At which point he would always kill himself laughing, while the room of 12 yr olds looked at him blankly Rolling Eyes
