Is there a date for availability of a particle filter for the diesel yet? My dealer says "sometime in 2006".

As far as I am aware of Germany is the only market with a particle filter for the TDV6 (reasons are road tax issues and similar tree hugger crap). However it's a so-called open system and not factory fitted and therefore not exactly what you want.

Surprisingly the Jaguar XJ something with exactly the same engine comes with a closed system particle filter as standard in most countries..!!!!! There you are, the ripp off of us LR guys goes on and on and LR just couldn't care less..
