L494 Battery Change

Hi,

I have Range Rover Sports, Plug in Hybrid Model. 2018 Model. I often get various errors, which just goes away when I restart the vehicle. I also get Battery Low error sometime.. I wanted to change the battery.

I couldn't find location of Primary Battery. as I don't have spare tyre in trunk and it have Big Lithium EV battery. Can anyone point out any youtube post to find battery?

I can find the Aux battery in the right side of the Boot compartment. But That battery, RR have changed it about 6 months ago but didn't resolved my issues.

So Instead of taking it to dealer again. I was hoping to change it myself. Thanks.

Try putting it on a Ctek charger MXS5 or equivalent until the first green light comes on. Might just need a good charge Range Rover Sport: Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S

I already charged it once.. I guess Battery is about 5 years old.. And I found the battery as well. It is in Trunk as well. I missed it initially by thinking it is EV Battery.. but it have small lid, when you open, you need to remove a bit of packing material and you see Primary Battery... Weekend project. I hope it will resolve issues.

Also another thing, What you think of Loin batteries? as Exide and Bosch are almost double price. Both are compatible with my vehicle (AGM Batteries)
