England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Stripped oil pump bolt on 2.7

Good evening all,

I have just replaced oil pump to the updated version on my 2.7 MY 05.

Clearly it was all going too well, final Bolt, final torque and it’s snapped.

I’ve tried to remove it, which has now resulted in a removal tool being lodged and snapped inside the snapped bolt.

Where do I go from here? Last thing I want to do is just leave it, but at this point I can’t imagine it’ll be overly easy to remove a removal tool on top.

Any help / suggestions are welcome.

The classic way is to put a steel washer around it and weld the stub to the washer then put a large nut on top and weld inside the nut ...then wind it out Ha Ha good luck
