Hi, Sometimes my car will not crank/start. The cure seems to be : lock then unlock and then it starts. This fix can take several attempts. I replaced the car battery but the issue is still there. Any ideas out there?
All the functions are OK as per a normal starting procedure, ie dash, heating , radio, lights etc. just doesn’t always crank.Any tips appreciated.

Put a temporary ( chunky) cable from the battery neg to the engine block for a day or so and see if there is any improvement. If so start checking your earth points especially the main one on the chassis 2010 RRS, TDV8
