Pyrenees Tyres

Taking the G4 down to the Pyrenees for 10 days next month, and doing approx 500 kms of "easy" Confused offroad

Currently she is on a set of 19" conti contacts, which she came with, and i have just bought another set of 4 new rims with new Pirelli tyres (? which pattern i do not know yet) anyone here in the Wimbledon ares !!

Doing a search on previous posts, it seams people have had problems with sidewall damage on the Conti's ??

Yes, i know i should be fitting a set of MT/R's, but no deals about, stock of them is spars, overpriced for what they are ?, and since its 2000 miles, and only about 350 offroad, not much point !!

Which would you fit from experience ?? 997 TT, RR TDV8 Vog SE 90 V8 Hybrid

I live nearish Wimbledon if you need help - as long as my reward will be a good look over the G4!

Re tyres you have to go with MTR's all other tyres are too soft, the Conti's especially so. I think I know where they have some stock but they are £141+VAT & Fitting. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Mmm, now that could be useful, and i am sure the reward will be a tad more that that !! Very Happy

I know the MT.s are the way to go, but they will have to wait a while ! have read the conti are "soft" Planning on taking a couple of spares, hence buying another set of rims !! 997 TT, RR TDV8 Vog SE 90 V8 Hybrid

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

TJ have you taken a look at Cooper AT2's - Cooper's answer to the BFG AT? They are available for RRS, but not sure which sizes are available at the moment. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
