England 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Santorini Black
ZF6hp26 swap

Are these transmission box's interchangeable between models? for example disco 3 2.7 into a sport 2.7 or 4.2sc into a 2.7 and how about the L322 disco 4 etc. I've been on the look out for a lower mileage example but not sure what will fit. I have a chance of one from a 4.2sc ffrr. I'd have to use the mechatronic from my own box with it. 2008 RRS 2.7 TDV6 S Poverty model

I think the 4.2 maybe different.

Yeah I asked about using a D4. I think the answer was yes, but no guarantee.

Done some cross referencing and found that RRS 2.7, 4.2sc, 4.4 all have the same gear ratios the difference as i can see is the torque converter size. 255mm = 2.7, 260mm = 4.4, 280mm =4.2. Disco4 2.7 has same ratios and torque converter as rrs 2.7 and 4.0L has same but 260mm torque con. I can't find specs for the ffrr to compare though. 2008 RRS 2.7 TDV6 S Poverty model

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

The Supercharged (and TDV8?) had modified epicyclics in order to handle the grunt. But that wouldn't cause a problem if used in a lower output model. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

You'll need to swap over the mechatronic unit also - e.g. keep the one that belongs to your car. Unless you feel like re-coding the new one to your VIN. That's the easy part of course! Every home should have one!
