Solution Finish -Trim

Eh up all

Whilst still prepping my bumper - sanding needs patience and I needed something else to do🤔

So my rear bumper tread plate looked a little grey - thought about throwing paint on but read about Solution Finish Trim Black.

For the effort v cost of new trim v this stuff thought I would give it a try as I would like do my scuttle panel which looks grey and from what I’ve read is common 😟

So not sure on longevity but prepping as I would paint panel with solvent wipe and made sure trim was clean, left to evaporate, applied solution with foam pad you only need a little it goes a long way.

You cannot really tell in the photo but top is prior, bottom is half done, having left overnight it looks well and will see how it lasts

Will also be applying to scuttle panel.

I’ve no ties to this stuff at all.

Mod - not sure where to put this post so feel free to move it

Decided to do the scuttle panel after seeing the result on the rear trim panel.

My scuttle was fairly grey and kind of mottled - gather this is normal on RRS

I think it looks a lot better but how long it last time will tell
