Don't know how accurate this actually is, never noticed a trim i.d. code plate on mine anywhere, but then to fair haven't actually been looking.

Thanks col ...my RRS has been re connalised but they did not do a good job of the seat bolster and having spent hours tinting the spray for my Jag XK8 I wanted an accurate match

You do not have to be VAT registered or a business to register with Topix, however I believe they have updated their system and you can no longer get the build spec. for free, even if you take out a subscription I think you may find the vehicle is now to old to retrieve the info.

There are a few third party Vin decoder sites, however how accurate they are is another thing, as even topix isn't always correct.

Here is one if you can ever get on to it, I do recall using it just to compare with topix in the past and it was quite accurate and gave most build details and matched the topix list for my vehicle if I remember correctly, but as said no actual code's for the trim just colour's ebony, ivory and cirrus stitching which was the same as topix, but most of the sites are crap and come back vin not found or only give the basic details which you know anyway.

I used VIN Decoderz before I purchased mine last month, for me it was spot on

Just put decode VIN into Google and got a land rover vin reader and its all there Almond trim .Hooray Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

Green ones had different coloured interiors from what I have noticed.
