Hopefully they don't go and do something silly like use a unique chemistry or some weird interface, so making it impossible for anyone else to fix/replace a damaged battery/cell. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

And it's costing the UK taxpayer £500 million for the privilege! (sweetener)

And exporting to the EU is not really a viable option with tariffs now but I guess Tata won't care,

It does seem odd to build it in Somerset when JLR's battery manufacturing plant is at Hams Hall nr Brum.

At least Bridgewater has easy access to the M5 and so stuff can be moved almost exclusively by motorway. Does seem strange though. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
