Hi folks,

Sorry, this is probably a really daft question. When I purchased my 2010 RRS in February, I noticed that the fluid level in the ACE reservoir was nearly at the top, over the max level. I removed about a 100ml back the max level.

I noticed, during the week whilst I was changing the brakes, that the level is now at the top of the reservoir again. Is this normal ?

No way the amount of oil in the system should increase unless something is getting in externaly. The level would rise slightly when system hot but that's all. What colour is the oil?

Hi Col,

Yes it's a little strange, never had that with the ACE system on my D2, always stayed at the level.

I must admit that the fluid looks a little dark, perhaps it needs a filter and fluid change.
