Auxialary heating on RRS P440e

Any thoughts on whether it is worth to spec auxiliary heating on a RRS 440e? Given preconditioning for charging when colder, does this also raise in car temperature in colder months? On a diesel I would always spec it. On a hybrid I am not so sure. The RRS will be outside during ski trips in the Alps, trail running and lake sailing as of early spring.

Let me know. Both sales rep and service technician were trending to not include on a hybrid.

Electric (plugged in or not), works well.
Engine running works fine too. 2022 P440e AB

I have preconditioning and I often use it. The wee fuel burning heater uses less petrol. But more than that, for me, is that the remote options do not work if the car has been sat for a few days because the app says ‘car is asleep’ so you cannot choose app-based pre-heating. Whereas the fob heating works all the time. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Can the car be pre heated on the P440e without having to have the auxiliary pack? ——————————————

Yes, if you have an In Control subscription you can pre-heat the car using either petrol engine or the the pack. But the car cannot be asleep so must have been used in the last few days. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Great thanks, so the auxiliary pack is not all that necessary.

With the increase I am looking to trim down my specification. ——————————————
