Deployable steps adjustment

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the deployable steps can be adjusted?
My drivers side appears to be not fully deploying, by a few mm.
I know as I stand on it, it moves slightly. Then when stowing, sounds like it bottoms out slightly.

remove, strip down & lube. you'll see if its rusted beyond repair. they get hit/kerbed & some people hammer them back. at least yours actually work...lol
