2010 TDV8 Engine Oil Leak

I have an engine oil leak on my 2010 TDV8 which apears to come from the bellhouse/transmission connection. The leak is quite bad lossing about 0.5 to 1 litre every few thousand km's. My 1st thought is the crank seal is passing oil. Are there any other leak areas I should be looking for.

Oil cooler?

If you can get to the plug in the bottom of the bell housing, remove it and try to look if there’s oil in there. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

From memory there is no plug at the bottom of the bell housing on my vehcile. The last time I did an oil change I wiped the bellhosing/tramission area because there was a slight weep oil and I did not notice a plug. Had I I would have removed it to see if oil was draining out.
