SVR2015:Missing exhaust on/off & auto stop/start buttons

Hi all,

I'm new to here for your expert advise on SVR 2015.

Referring to the picture attached, can someone explain to me why the exhaust on/off button & auto stop/start buttons not available in this car?

My understanding is that all SVRs models to date date must have these buttons on the center console. Please advise unless otherwise.

Thank you all !

Sorry I can't help specifically but I thought the same as you that all the early SVR's had the exhaust button.

Also notice you don't have the stop/start button either but I don't know if that was an additional option.

Here's a pic of my 2016 SVR buttons, sorry can't help any more but I'm sure someone on this helpful forum will know the answer.

 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

Another doubt, does your car (SVR in general) has the suspension adjust button inside the trunk? If, can you share a pic plz?!

Yes that's the one.

It's lit up on the bottom right of mine.

But I don't know if the stop/start was a specified option that could be added at build stage and not on all specs.

I don't have any buttons in the boot/trunk that I know of that have anything to do with suspension but I'm very intrigued now to what others say. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

Are you sure it's a real SVR, plenty of people fake them these days?

Every SVR i have owned has had the exhaust button. Now

Hi - you live in Dubai and the car is from Dubai right?

I’m sure this will be down to regional variations - yours will be Gulf-spec and
presumably therefore doesn’t require stop/start to save fuel and reduce emissions like in the UK and also there probably aren’t such strict rules about noise so perhaps in Gulf-spec cars the exhaust is always on loud setting?! 2013 L494 V8 s/c Autobiography Dynamic

Hi Punkawallah,

Thanks for your response mate Smile

Yes, I live in Dubai and the Car is GCC spec originally sold by the authorized dealer here in Dubai.

Your points are valid, but I've seen other 2015 SVR with both buttons so I doubt it was an option when this Vehicle was introduced in 2015. probably, yes, but either the owner or the dealer couldn't verify it.

If your assumption is right, the button doesn't exist means will the exhaust be always on loud setting or on controlled setting?! Please share your thought Smile

Thanks again!
