Household sparkys, I need educating

Fitting some down lights in a bathroom, the new lights are a 2 wire set up (Just live & neutral.)
The old lights are a 3 wire (earth.)
There are 3 down lights wired in a loop. The new lights are double insulated, so I know they're OK.
My issue is... The last light in the loop currently has only 3 wires to it, easy, connect the live & neutral then terminate the earth and make safe. The other two existing lights though have 6 wires, two of each to make the loop.
Now the live & neutral are easy enough again, just connect both, but what about the two earths?
Do I terminate them still twisted together (do they form part of a bigger loop) or do I separate them and terminate individually?
Many thanks.

Join the earth cables together, use earth sleeve and a terminal block

Thanks for the swift reply 360.
Do you mean join just the two existing earth wires that are present at the old connector, and terminate the pair or join ALL the earth wires together and terminate?

Just terminate at each light, this will keep the continuity of the earth so that the cable is earth protected
