Wanted - TDV8 20 inch, 10 spoke alloy wheel!

I am looking for at least one RRS TDV8 20 inch - 10 spoke alloy wheel. Will take more if available and all advice on how to stop family members from kerbing the car. I tried the: don’t drive it, but that didn’t work, hid the keys, but the dog sniffed them out.......maybe if I ask them to get a drivers license, that would change things! 'Rolling Eyes' .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

TDV8 HSE MY10 with pretty much everything including a vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??

I know exactly how you feel actually... Mrs S kerbed one of my M3 alloys not long after I took delivery of that.

Time to get that Silence of the Lambs-type pit built in one of your unused rooms Wink

I can't tell you how pixxxx off I was.........just hope that somebody is looking to upgrade their wheels from the factory standard and wants a quick easy exchange for folding stuff! Big Cry .

RAD if you find anyone selling those 20" I'm up for buying one as well. Just 450 miles on the clock of my new TDV8 and I've just horribly kerbed one of my wheels going into London tonight. Any expensive dinner.

Sounds like a plan............at the moment, they seem to be going for around £800 for 4 wheels and tyres. Now if we can get another 2 drivers who are man enough to admit they've kerbed a wheel and can't deal with the car not being right, then life will be perfect.

Well, nearly.

A new wheel, without the tyre is £320+ from a LR dealer, so if we can get them for £200 (complete), then its win.

I will see what I can do! .

Ok I'm in if we can find them.

Someone selling 4 on ebay right now with the bid at a £1000 for the 4. Maybe he only wants one and can sell us a couple!

There are a bunch on eBay, but you have to be really careful as they are mostly "Style" which means they are rips rather than the genuine article. Assume you want Continental tyres.

To be honest, if I can get 2 for £500 and as long as they are the real thing with the correct tyres, that gets my vote! 'Razz' .

Yes agree - what part of the world are you in RAD? I may make a punt on ebay later to see if I can get these. Send me a PM.
