You mean you're legally required to? Is that some odd Highlands and Islands law? Wink

Blimey she's frugal!!

I've now done 4k miles since picking up my RRS on Good Friday.

Total mileage now 13K.
Trip computer hasnt been reset since car was new (previous owner verified)

Most trips are motorway with cruise set to 80mph (private roads of course).

Dash computer says 28.5mpg ave.
Ive calculated mpg at the pump with every fill up.
every tankful is over 30 , usually 31.something.

Ive had discoveries for years , 300tdi , TD5 and never come close to this economy.
So I'm actually doing my bit to save the environment !

Happy? I'm tickled pink.
Mart Thumbs Up

mpg/tim

just back from a trip to south of france, found myself a bit low on diesel out there, so neareststation I filled up. It was a surermarket station,L eclerc?. they had diesel with a picture of a lorry on the pump, and next to it a pump showing low sulphur diesal. I filled up with low sulphur, at a low price , and away I went. The next day we went into the mountains, and was I in a mess, my rrs would not pick up after a gear change, and found numerous flat spots on acceleration. As soon as I could I filled up with BP ultimate, Sure it cost a few coopers more, but what a diffewrence to my rrs, no more flat spots, no acceleration defaults, felt a completely different car to the one with so called low sulpher fuel. I have always felt that the cheap supermarket fuels are not as good as brand named ones .

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Just did 250 miles from essex to Manchester. Computer says 28.2 mpg

This is in a TDV8 and tanking it when I could although I would have spent about 30 mins in heavy traffic.

I am sure this is better than the TDV6 I had.

It's probably better because for any give revs your TDv8 is producing so much more torque at lower revs than the TDv6 so it doesn't have to work so hard to push 2.5t through the air! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
