Oil in Air Filter - Turbo Gone?

Hi all,

I recently bought a non-running 2007 RRS with the 3.6l TDV8 engine.

Only code is: P010C-21 (24) Mass or volume air flow B - circuit low - General signal failure -signal amplitude<minimum

Live values during attempted start below:

I have swapped the cables and sensors and the fault stays with the same intake pipe which indicates to me that the reading is valid and intake is blocked.

There is also oil in the air filter

My amateur diagnosis is telling me one of the turbo oil seals has failed and maybe seized.

Am I jumping to conclusions or do I need to get the wallet out?

Censored ! Thanks for the quick reply.

Any idea of the going rate at the moment? And are there any other tips/recommendations: new vs reconditioned, other bits to do at the same time?

If you're going to keep it, a new turbo. If it's a quick "fix and sell it on" then a re-con one, although that's potentially Censored for the guy who buys it down the line. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I pulled the top hoses off the intercooler today and it tries to start but won’t idle.

Could the engine be toast or is a blocked exhaust from the turbo failure more likely?

Pull the bottom hoses off, see how much oil drains out
