France 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Siberian Silver
French RRS SDV6 2012 new owner

Hello,
I live in Brittany in the extrem west of France.
I own a L322 2003 TD6 270000 km. It works very fine but I drive a lot and I like mechanics. So I bought yesterday a RRS 2012 200000 km with a new engine (only 20000 km).... BROKEN (perharps!). I know this engine because I owned a citroen C5 tourer V6 HDI 3.0 with the same engine and I had a oil pump problem with low pressure. So I decide to proceed to a fail research and repair myself. I will search in this forum informations and I want to try to take off the engine without take off the body. I think it's possible but it will be very short. I will try to report to you the differents stages when I will begin. For this moment, I test several parts of the engine: crankshaft moves but I do not know if it is broken. this will be the next step when it will be on the lift. I opened the oil cap and I saw the moving of the both right camshaft when I turned the crankshaft with a tool: this a good news: the synchronisation chain is ok. I will create a new discussion to describe the steps to find the problem.
Sorry for my bad English, I am a poor frenchie.
See you later.
