I am new in the forum; couldn't find how to post in the "welcome area" but will try again.


Just wanted to share some information and get opinions about this topic. Some days ago I decided to try retrofitting LKA in my car and changed the corresponding CCF file (only found: Lane Departure Assist -LKA) from not fitted to fitted using IID GAP tool. CCF update was successful and got no faults so checked the "vehicle conf" but LKA option wasn't there then went for a short drive. LDW was still working well but nothing about LKA. Finally, I decided to retrofit the change until getting more information.

Why I decided to test it?
My RRS is a MY16 HSE Dynamic pretty full of extras including TSR, LDW, BSM, 360 view and full park assist among others. I saw in my vehicle owner's manual that LKA is described; actually I was surprised because it says that requirement for LKA is having LDW which I have. So I though that 2016 model might support LKA and all hardware might be there, too.

Any experience or suggestions?
