Beeping Outside Once Turned Off

Hi Everyone, new owner here with a question.

I have a 2017 Autobiography with an odd thing that happens every time we turn the car off. From outside the car towards the rear underneath we can hear a faint beeping, it's two to three beeps per second and lasts for around ten seconds after the car is switched off.

Any ideas what this may be?

Thank you!

Mine does it too but I’ve no idea what it is.

Are you sure it it from the rear and not the engine bay - when you shut down the EGRs go through their cleaning shutdown process that lasts about 20 secs and can sound like beeping sometimes. 07MY RRS TDV6

I'll pop the bonnet and find out but 90% sure it's from the rear underside.

on the Puma, this is the turbo that is kept spinning to cool down.

Coming from the rear, I would say that this is the fuel pump running itself down? --

It sounds like a digital man mad beep, though. Like it's supposed to be doing it. I'll try and get a video and post it.

Sounds different to that. This is like an electronic beeping sound. I’m not worried about it, mines mine doing it since the day I got it amongst the many other little sounds it makes when it’s off.

With regard to the turbo. Is the turbo kept running or is there an electric aux oil pump to cool it down - to me it sounds like the latter as I can clearly hear this in the engine bay.
