Hi all i cant make up my mind between a tdv6 new a second hand one or bite the bullet and buy a TDV8
what should i pay for a new one
what are the best prices people are paying
was offered 6 % discount on a TDV6
is this the same for the TDV8

Unlikely to get much of a discount on a TDV8 - 6% could be bettered, pm Kam he has a few sources. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

When I spoke to Kam there was no movement on the TDV8, too new and too sought after. TDV6 is acheivable.

My supplier has confirmed the same......its list price for the TDV8.....so whatever the LR site says is it I'm afraid. TDV6 - gone

ex demos, there may be some kind of movement, be it slightly minimal. but so far no dealer is providing any decent delivery times on the TDV8 and residuals are looking very strong as a consequence.

Why Pay Motologix Just use their Qoatation then just get a dealership to match, thats all I did and it worked fine, Motorlogix are the pits if you ask me charging a Broker Fee

I tend to agree with you Bod (btw, I have you as my ringtone!) - but I suppose if people want to pi** their money up the wall, then that's up to them

I tried that and they would entertain it. Apparently Motologix source LR, Jag and Volvo through Marshall's hence the volume giving the a corporate discount. I tried many other dealers and the best I could get was £1000 off a TDV8 as they can fulfil their allocation at list price. Are these discounts on actual cars that rea due to arive soon, or is it the price you will pay whan a TDV8 actually arrives in several months time?

I bought mine through Motorlogix and got the discount , service was good , not an import as supplied via Marshalls and took a delayed delivery last week , very pleased as noone else would give me a discount.
