Transmission Fault message.

2008 RRS l320 TDV8, Transmission fault message appeared yesterday, drives fine in auto, however
when you select Sport/manual position it does not work & still shows D on the dash.
A couple of times I have travelled about ten miles in Auto mode, stopped, turn engine off, then restarted
and Sport mode worked ok. Today have done the same, but not working. appreciate any tips/ solutions regarding
this.

Hi, thanks for reply's, Gearbox oil has been changed, used every day, about 600-700 miles per week, New Yuasa 100AH
battery fitted 5 months ago, rear stop/ taillight bulbs changed, have been told to change brake light switch as often
causes silly faults? Have ordered Genuine switch to try!
