2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Chawton White

Correct, but those modified sill covers (with cutouts for the six brackets) should have been included as part of the side steps kit... I'm not even sure whether that trim can be ordered separately. Guess you'll find out real soon.
