After some guidance on what are the best value for money steps to buy and looking for recommendations for a fitting service in Gwent? Also looking for recommendations for best dashcam (front and rear) to get and contacts to fit in Gwent area? Thanks in Advance Very Happy

Hi and Welcome

Loads of stuff on here regarding both items. I fitted side steps myself and its no great issue even if you're not much of a mechanic. That also means it shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg if you get a garage to do it

On the dash cam front they all seem to have their pros and cons. I like my Thinkware F770 as it has a built stuff including in safety camera warning system although that is also a bit annoying as it does get a bit repetitive when going through "mobile speed camera zones" but on balance I keep it on (it can be turned on/off as can its lane departure stuff). it has saved me from a few issues over the years. Good picture/camera and can be hard wired. Robin

+1 for the Thinkware F770. The only issue Iv'e had is trying without success to get a third party memory card to work in it. In the end I stuck with the one supplied. Mines nearly 4 years old and still going strong (that's jinxed it now no doubt Crying or Very sad )

I used a 128gb Sandisk in my F770 and it worked perfectly, even though Thinkware say 64gb max if I remember correctly. I personally think the F770 is still one of the best and have tried both the Thinkware 800 Pro and U1000 as well.

Cheers
