white respectively clear tail lamp

Hello everybody,

I`m new to this forum and registered,
because I am planning to switch from
my BMW X5 3.0d (see gallery) to a RRS TDV8.

Hopefully I will not regret that decision
since I am very satisfied with my X5
and its reliability. But the sad thing is,
this car has nothing individual at all,
especially when it comes to driving it
in its hometown, munich, where you
can see a X5 at every corner. Neutral

Ok, now to my question. I´ve seen
a RRS whose tail lamps had no orange
blinker. Instead of orange, the glass
was clear. They looked pretty cool and
very elegant. Thumbs Up
I´ve seen them in a posting
from an other member but unfortunately
I don`t remember in which one.

So, may somebody tell me, who`s
selling this kind of tail lights? I´ve already
researched at Overfinch and JE but didn`t
find something like this.

Chris

Chris, wilkommen! Our North America "Amber Killer" antics22 sold his Sport a few months back, and unfortunately the web site he used to host, with step-by-step instructions to remove amber reflectors from front and rear lights (rrstips.com), is gone as well. However, modifying the tail lamps should be easy compared to the front headlights... No oven, butter knife and baking soda required. Very Happy This thread on rangerovers.net should help: http://www.rangerovers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5162

i am very curious about this method, so basically you take the light off and break the orange section from the back, sounds like fun! I can see it now, carefully doing this and then feck, you make a mess and have to make a call to the dealer with a story about the wife hitting the rear lamp!

First of all, thank you for welcoming me
so warm in this friendly community. Smile

Regarding the tail lamps, I am not sure
if I should risk to modify them myself.

In the meantime, I found the picture I talked
about in my first posting.

And as you can see below, those tail lamps
don`t look like "homemade". So I still
believe that there must be a professional
seller of those lamps out there.

So, if you are that seller and you are
reading this: pleeeaaase...give us a sign! Big Cry

Christian
