The most interesting part of the front light mod is the oven, from what i remenber you put the complete light unit in the oven @ 250 degrees celcius, 4 mins and the seal becomes soft and you can then take the light apart. Once the orange strip has been replaced you put the light back together and then back into the oven to soften the bond and seal it up again. i would be concerned about condensation forming in the light after the seal is broken, what do you guys think?

As for the back, from what i have heard, you only have to break the orange reflector, but this is were I get confused, how do you get the pieces out ??????? 2011 Defender X-tech

Yes to both mcma 1. I'd be s Censored t-scared of the oven method and I just cant get my small brain around the rear. That's why it's such a shame that some enterprising individual doesnt yet offer a ready-made exchange service.., they'd make a fortune I reckon!
