Navigation in motion

As far as I know that in 07 models they introduced something call Navigation in motion which was not available in 06 models
I'm really worried if that satup will help more coz during motion u r allowed to select only limited functions like (previous destinations , stored points est.) but still I'm not allowed to input any street address or town so how is this configuration different from what was in 06 models

No no Brian, well done.

I'm off to do a search for one myself. I may have contacts but they won't give anything away Smile

It's amazing how many times I've wanted to input a destination whilst on move, mostly whilst on motorway after a phone call. I've taught the wife the input number trick but it's a real pain every time. (Wife enters details on move, before you all start)

Phew., that's a relief. The guy I used had great feedback and only did satnav discs. Good luck Rob! Thumbs Up

On-the-move navigation input has not been universally implemented on 2007s. Here in North America for example, we are still locked out of it as soon as we start rolling, and to make matters worse Land Rover also disabled the 1791 hack on MY2007s (as well as on MY06 updated with 07 map DVDs)... Evil or Very Mad So, whether this feature has been added on 07s or not is up to what Land Rover decided to do in your country.

Brian, do you have the part number for the new mapdisc? Alternatively, do you have the sellers id on eBay?

Thanks.

MDP/DDX, I checked the seller and they're "no longer registered on ebay", no surprise there if they're knocking out copies of satnav discs. I cant recall the LR part no, but I DO remember checking before purchase that it was the latest version and it certainly upgraded software as it took a while when first loaded. It also has identical printed graphics to the old original DVD. Whatever the case, it works fine! Whistle

There were several discs available from different sellers at the time so I'm sure there still should be now? Good luck fellas!!! Thumbs Up

I'd be more than pleased to do that E but unfortunately my laptop only does CDs, not DVDs? Big Cry

Tell me, does the old disc permit access to "previous destinations" on the move? Question
