Freebies with new cars

What Freebies are people getting when the pick up their new Sports?

Is the LR Experience 1/2 day still a standard?

I'm looking at picking up a V8 in April and want to make sure my dealer is providing a "premium" service Laughing

Freebies are few and far between. You might get a free "tank" of fuel, which must be specially compressed dealer-only fuel as it only tends to show as half full when you turn the key Rolling Eyes Also expect a bottle of fake bubbly or some other token gift.

The LRE is no longer supplied - you *may* be able to swing one if you make enough noise, but it's doubtful.

The handover procedure tends to vary in quality from dealer to dealer - who is supplying your car? Maybe one of us will have had experience with them and will be able to advise?

As S said, the 1/2 Day LRE is not standard - however just register interest in any LR product on the website and you will get an invite sooner or later Wink

It seems that a few people get a "Freebie" or possibly a "Freebie2" for the price of their RRS , as the RRS spends its time in the dealers getting fixed Smile 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

I got a full tank of diesel, cloth matts front and rear and a rubber matt for the boot. I also got the supercharged grills and vents, but I think they just forgot that they were on the car as the car was originally ordered for one of the guys there.

Oh, and 2 land rover toy bears for the kids that malt black hairs all over the house.

Having said all that I will be swaping this car as it had several faults for the TDV8, although I do have to pay the difference bewteen the TDv6 and the TDV8. It does mean I have 6 months depreciation free motoring.
