United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Orkney Grey
date and time keep reseting to default

Hi All,

Hope you can help in the last week the date and time and have rest each morning to the factory default, any idea what could be causing this?
My first thought is a battery issue as i had low battery warning about a month ago but nothing since.
I have ordered a battery tester being delivered today so will check the battery power. either tonight or over the weekend.

I have had the RRS since end of June.

Do you think i would be better off just putting a new battery in?

Many thanks for your help on advance.

Yes a bad battery can cause this, but when it’s happened to me, I’ve noticed other issues too such as all the lights going mad etc. 2012 5.0 SC AB

Hi Brit Plumber,

No other issues apart from the DAB radio not finding stations but thats not new!!

I have had the battery checked and that seems fine!

Culprit of the issue was the battery took it to national and had them check the battery it was knackered so new battery no issues.
Last time I buy a cheap battery tester on amazon!
