Leather problems

Hi guys, I got my sport a month or so ago, and love it, but depite only having it a month, and only just doing 1000 miles the leather on the drivers seat is already starting to look a bit tatty, as the colouring from my trousers has rubbed off on the alpacca leather, and made it look dirty. What would you guys reccommend to clean the leather. How often should I do it?

cheers for your help

There'll probably be a range of presonal suggestions, but I have the same problem with my Alpaca leather and find Autoglym Leather Care Cream does an excellent job. Cleans and protects, superb finish, not too abrasive, use every month or 6 weeks! Thumbs Up

You need to treat the leather early, I use gliptone waterproof conditioner and cleaner and as yet have had no stains on my alpacca, but I don't wear jeans.

Thanks a lot guys. yeah, ebony would probs have been a better choice with hindsight, but prefer the look of the alpaca, and was worried that ebony and black exterior would be too much. 2.7 TDV6 HSE 2007 finnally arrived

Before you try any propriety treatments, try a baby wipe. Buy a tub and use one to wipe the leather down, it will remove the blue from the leather and help treat it as well.
