3.6 tdv8 stock exhaust pipe diameter

Hey guys

Does anyone know what the diameter of stock exhaust centre section is please ?
On a 3.6 tdv8 I want to remove the centre silencer replace with straight stainless pipes
To improve sound, thanks.

Mine are straight through pipes

They sound like a V8 should and also does no longer sound like a diesel
after work i will send you the measurement of the pipes and send you some pics
