Rear upper arm bush replacement

Evening all,

A while ago I tried to replace my rear wheel bearing but couldn’t due to the bolt seizing in the upper arm bush. I was hoping it could wait a bit longer but it’s now getting to the point of being too loud and annoying due to the mileage I cover... currently sat in Penrith services head home after a round trip to Inverness via Campbell Town & Oban over the last three days....

What I could do with knowing is what is the best tool to remove the bush it self as I would rather spend a little money rather than struggle for hours on something improvised..

TIA
Peter

any decent LR independent garage would do a rear wheel bearing for £50- £60
not worth the hassle doing yourself if you don't have the time, tools or skills 2007 TDV6 RRS HSE..now gone

Hi MGO,

if I had a decent Indi then I would consider that option. however I don't appear to have one I can trust and whilst I may lack in free time and some tooling I don't generally lack in skill...

wasn't meant as a dig.
just saying its one of those jobs you can let go of.
considering the time it would take you to do it and the relative low cost of someone else doing it 2007 TDV6 RRS HSE..now gone

No offence taken MGO. although being badly hungover i already felt like poop lol.

got the Laser version of the OEM tool from Advanced being delivered today. so just need to get a decent gas torch to heat the bush and get the seized bolt out.....
