Just had an email to say this runs out next month, the 2 options are -

InControl Remote & Secure - 12 months - £240
InControl Remote - 12 months -£30

As far as I can see the only difference is the 1st one includes the tracker?

Is it worth £210 a year for the tracker?
Whenever i’ve heard of a RRS getting nicked, the 1st thing they do is disable the tracker!
And if it does get nicked, I don’t think I want it back!
Plus, we have GAP insurance

I’m in the same position as you J2D,,ive just had a reminder for the evoque but I’m not going to bother with either,but the sport also runs out in May so I’ll just renew the InControl remote as if mine gets stolen I don’t want it back & I also have gap insurance Andy.

Don’t forget to tell the insurer if you stop subscibing to the tracker service. My insurer won’t insure a RRS if tracker not active.

My insurance hasn’t asked for a tracker fitted. Andy.

For some reason my incontrol apps no longer working for the sport,,it’s saying it’s expired,,it shouldn’t have expired till May the 15th. Andy.

I dont get that, as you bought an "approved" vehicle I thought you should get both as part of that scheme

ours is now out of man warranty but still under approved and our app is still working and showing expiry Sept  Porsche Cayenne 2022

I am in the process of purchasing a LR Approved (18 month old) RRS (AB) which comes with InControl Secure.

Can peps clarify the following:

1) Is the first 3 years included with InControl or will I need to start a new subscription from when I collect the car (at £240 per annum)

2) I assume with an active subscription then InControl Secure is "insurance approved"

InControl subscription is transferable.

InControl Secure is Cat 6/S7. Depending on the value many insurance companies want Cat 5/S5

I’m struggling to see the benefits, the only pages I seem to have on the app are front page. With fuel etc, journeys, assistance and settings. Looking at the app tour, there are also security, seat folding and remote climate pages, can these be enabled?
