INSURANCE RENEWAL TIME

Hi All,
Recommendations required for insurance please. Current company want to more than double last years cost, so I will tell them where to go !!!!

Did a quick Go-Compare comparison and found a quote 50% less that what have been quoted by my current company Shocked so 100% wont be renewing with them.

Many Thanks

Just looking at our renewal. Cheapest on Compare the Market for us is £555.29 with AXA including £400 excess. On GoCompare the same AXA policy is £504.47 with AXA including £400 excess.

However, as per the comment from Aircon99 above I used Confused and again the AA came up cheapest. They quote £492.50 with only £100 total excess - plus a £20 Texaco petrol voucher. I think I know who will be getting my business … although I might give A-Plan a whirl as not due to 1st October.

If you have more than one car, and one of them is reasonably high value, you could try REIS for a Family Marque policy.. it costs me £1200 p/a for the RRS and BMW 650i, fully comprehensive, full european breakdown cover and fully comprehensive on any car not owned by me up to £150k value..

I'm .. gah .. 41 with 14yrs NCB on one, 10yrs NCB on the other, and one no-fault claim this year when a little old lady decided to mate with the back of my OHs MINI at a set of lights. 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S

Once you find your cheapest quote, call A-Plan and tell them, I was advised to take a screenshot/copy of the price which has to include registration or vehicle details then they will take it to the underwriters who may match it.

It worked for me and in principle I don't like rewarding insurers who don't reward loyal customers, but it was convenient as I didn't have to go through the rigmarole of proving NCB, licences etc. 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine
14MY Range Rover Evoque Dynamic SD4 Black Pack - wife's
