United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Java Black
Discs & Pads.... What is your thoughts?

So my Sport TDV8 HST soon needs new discs and pads all round. I have Brembos.

What brands are you putting on yours? Should I fit brembo branded items?

Gsf have 60% off promo so I can get a full set for £251.

Or are there other brands worthy of fitting?

Cheers

We use Britpart XS discs in our workshop, and usually advise XS pads, unless the customer would like an upgraded set

https://www.britpart.com/parts/repair-and-...sdb000624g

Available for a fair chunk less than branded Brembo items (which aren't actually made by Brembo Whistle)

Other pads worth mentioning would be the TRW DTEC pads, which are a ceramic, low dust compound, but would take you back up to your original £250-ish

EBGC Redstuff pads almost completely eliminated brake dust on my Sport.

Before that I only had to turn off my drive and the wheels were black.

And the braking performance was good, too, even from cold. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

My V6 has front vented EBC drilled and grooved with yellow stuff pads and I would buy again if needs.

Plan to do the same on the rear when its time to replace

Fitted EBC Redstuff pads and genuine discs, still get fair bit of brake dust, but most importantly got rid of that damn annoying brake squeal they suffer from under light brakeing.
