Hi Guys, as the title says, has anyone got a guide on how this is done? I’m wanting to replace the front carpet in mine and it’s looking like it’s a full strip out job.

If you look in the "how to" guides their is one about replacing the seat cushion, this involves taking the front seat out. Not seen one on the console though. 2010 RRS, TDV8

If it’s the front carpet, both front seats need to come out.

Pop all trims off the seat mounting bolts (4 covers per seat) remove 5 bolts.
Pop off cover at seat end of seat belt and remove bolt.
Remove headrest (to give some clearance to roof.
Fold seat into more compact size but still gripable.
Pop off front cover to seat to get to electrical harness.
Position seat over centre of rail so it’s as compact as possible.
Disconnect battery
Disconnect electric socket from seat.

Centre console.

Depending on year, remove panel around CD Player and remove 2 screws.
Put gear stick in neural (if stick change) may need to reconnect batt neg or do this before.
Pull off gear knob
Pull up on top panel to reveal all electrics and disconnect
Remove gear stick housing module
Remove big housing spacer
Remove 2 screws from front of console
Remove 2 covers (1 each side) at bottom sides to rear.
Remove the 2 screws.
Disconnect all electrical sockets.
Lift and pull up and back the console to remove.

Hopefully not missed anything.

Will probably take a few hours. 2012 5.0 SC AB
