My 2010 RRS HSE Overfinch

Hi all,

Picked up my first ever Range Rover last Friday, so thought i'd fire up a this thread to keep track of my ownership ups and downs Smile

I've not actually managed to get any decent pics of her yet, but here she is in the showroom.

It's a 2010 TDV6 HSE that seems to have been through the Overfinch shed at some point, and had a rather nice (IMO) interior retrim carried out.

As you can see, it's also had the Autobiography kit fitted along with 22" wheels.

It also has an aftermarket DVD player with headrest monitors for rear passengers.

Trawling through the service history and receipts i found the email address of the original owner... so i cheekily dropped her an email.

Turns out she still had a couple of pics lying around from when it was original

Quite the change from then to now...

So, my first tasks are to get things 'right'.

It only came with one key, so I've got another one on order.

It's also giving me some issues with the Smart Key Not Found message on the dash - which after a bit of research on here could well be a dodgy battery, so I've got a replacement being delivered tomorrow.

And, with this being a family vehicle and having to transport our Boxer dog, I thought it best to get some protection for the boot.. so got this fitted cover which does the job nicely Thumbs Up

That's it for now... but will be keeping this thread updated in future so if you're so inclined feel free to check back now and then Cool

That’s a good looking car, especially with those turbine alloys. I also got a boot liner but eventually the Velcro sections gave way, so I’ve put pressed studs in and it’s turned out very well. Add your details to the mileage thread. - http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic53150.html

Thanks! (added my mileage to the post you linked too Thumbs Up )

I forgot that in 2010 Bluetooth A2DP was a thing of high luxury and so thought I'd grab one of the Bovee dongles that I've read so much about on here.

Does the trick nicely, paired both mine and the wife iPhones, and works faultlessly with them at the same time as being paired to the car for phone calls. If anyone wants to make use of the 30-pin iPod connector then this is definitely the best way!

Whilst I was there I thought I'd grab a couple of interior shots - this is where the Overfinch bit comes in.

nice! I'd never seen one with turbines on before buying this one, but I really do think they set the car right off.

Yes, it was S Cars... They had a great selection there but can't say I was overly impressed with them in honesty

I thought the same about S cars too. They had a large selecttion but I didn't really like the guy who showed me around. Seemed to get one word answers to all the questiosn I asked so I purchased from elsewhere

In honesty the chap I spoke to when buying it was alright. But from the moment I picked it up they were absolutely useless.
Especially when you consider that in the first three weeks of ownership I only had it for a week! After sales is massively important and these guys just don’t have it.

Looks stunning - I haven't seen many with the Turbine wheels, I agree - really sets the car off!

The seats are magnificent - very jealous!

Nice looking setup

Certainly a change from the original.

Can i ask with that bluetooth dongle in the Ipod connector, does that allow you to play music via Bluetooth also. Even if you have to choose the ipod option on the audio menu first

The Bovee bluetooth dongle allows the phone to connect to it for music but retains the original cars bluetooth connection for phone features.

So, the car continues to connect and operate as normal for phone calls, but then you select the ipod connection on the car to get music from the phone... hopefully that makes sense Smile
