I think what's really bad is you would not expect or probably get this level of poor quality on a 10k car yet alone one that costs over 100k. On top of that Lee has just paid 3,5k for special paint, i mean come on you would think they would take even extra care when the customer has spent even more on the paint. Funny enough I told them to leave the finish as it is on the inside of the door as didn't want to disturb the factory pain finish, there is a chip down to the bare metal on the drivers door outside and a chip on the boot lid with a line in the paint right by the boot lid catch so its right in the line of sight every time you open the boot 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

Thinking about it when i collected mine there was a big chip on the bonnet i mentioned it to deaf ears.
Still i wasn't worried as i have a superb body shop near me who fitted my carbon mirror covers and some other things and done the chip, completely invisible now. How the hell do they get chipped though?

Not sure how they get chipped Paul, no they wouldn't be able to remove the line as it's almost like the tailgate wast scratched before it was painted and the paint hasn't filled the scratch to the top if you know what I mean 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

It's quite possible the car was damaged while at the dealers, I have heard quite a few stories of cars waiting for PDIs getting clobbered while in the compound. Don't suppose there was any "it's been held for a software update before we can PDI it" or any of that nonsense was there?

My latest toy had to have its boot lid resprayed as the factory managed to polish through the paint before delivery. And before the final inspection (by Mr Magoo).
