I would say it’s both, GPF and they have stopped the overfuelling on the map to quieten the pops and bangs to fit in with the new regulations, Lamborghini sales are going to stop as they are making them test there exhausts on corsa mode instead of strada so they will have To be quiet on there loudest setting now, originally they allowed them to test on strada so then they could make corsa loud! 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

It appears the BMW M cars also have complaints that the sound is 50% less so we are not alone with these new filters.

All I can see is to remove the mid selencer as there appears to be no sensors on it or after it but need to research it a little more before I commit.

It would be nice to know where this filter actually is.

On another note how are you finding fuel economy I’m seeing 12 - 14mpg on my previous SVR I was getting 18 ish so looks like fuel economy has also suffered from adding a filter so how does this save the planet.

We should find a way how to solve this issue as harmless as possible. But when I get the car and it will be really that quiet I will be very ..

Yeah I see on the BMW forums they are having the same problems, I will try and find out from Land Rover where the filter is.

Yeah I'm getting 13 mpg at the moment, on my MY 18 I was getting 16mpg (both of those figures are around town) how many miles has yours got on it as I reckon it will improve as the engine gets looser, I've got 380 at the moment 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

I agree, I will be very surprised if you think there is enough noise, even on start up, the MY18 used to roar and make people turn there heads, MY19 doesn't do that either

Mine is saying 17.5 mpg slow driving on quiet roads.

Lee are you sure there is a V8 under your carbon hood? SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

Ill be getting a quote to remove the mid silenser tomorrow with a small chance of getting it done straight away.

Im just going to remove the silencer and get it welded back together.

Reason for this is because the system is one part from the cats onwards so it would have to be cut even if i bought the supersprint pipes so doesnt make sense to buy them when a custom exhaust company can just remove the silencer.

Thats the plan anyway.
