Denmark 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Stornoway Grey
Supercharged Coolant Leak

Only really interesting for the supercharged drivers, mine’s 2007

Little strange this one, but if it has to happen it’s okay’ish in the drive.

Bought some height sensor plugs, pre wired from this site,
I’m all for preventive maintenance anyway, engine on for 2 minutes lifting to off road having a look at height sensor and coolant started leaking out. Found it was the supercharger cooler pipe at right side of cooler pinhole behind a piece of foam, first thought wtf is foam doing there, pushed aside nice little hole in pipe.

In the photo the radiator drain plug to the left and hole in pipe from next cooler in, supercharger or aux or inter cooler

.

Anyone seen that before and is the foam factory, really stuck in right out to the air blast cooler at front wheel?

Now ordered 2 coolers and 1 condenser now I’m there, oh and stat & water pump & bits.

Just odd stone cold engine and leak…

edit: the foam looks factory but no longer in my car...
Everything changed, big job
