Ireland 2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Sumatra Black
MY07 vs MY12

is it my imagination or is the older 05- 09 RRS more spacious in the cabin? driver leg room etc?

trading up from a 07 to a 2012 and i feel like the newer models are tighter up front.

Am i losing it Laughing

Just a shame they discontinued the tdv8. Andy.

I felt the same when swapping from 08 to 12MY. The seats are different and there is a definite, but small, difference. Not helped, I think, by the steering wheel adjustment not being quite as good on the newer, electrically adjusted, wheel of the later model. It's a small difference but noticeable. Perhaps it depends on how much adjustment one needs and where one wants the seat/wheel etc. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

good to know someone else had similar feeling.

i think the seat base is slightly bigger which gives the feeling of less space.
steering adjustment seems ok for my range.

anyway, onwards with the change.
2007 has been good vehicle to me
picked it up in 2010 with 80k km's on clock, now at 298k and still pretty sweet running. just the usual maintenance items kept her good. Excluding the annoyance of having to replace driver door lock 2 times, i would say a joy to own.

I hope the 2012 gives me the same service.
