Phone Problem

Hi
I made a call via Bluetooth and since hanging up the system seems to be stuch with the number on the screen with the handset logo flashing.
The phone used is an approved model with the latest software.
I have tried turning the vehicle off for several hours but the number remains on the screen.
This will not allow the radio or CD to work.

I have tried to get into the reset menue by pressing the button on the end of the indicator stalk but that will not opperate the menu.

I have even tried to reset the system with the door key but that has no effect either.
Any ideas?

Regards
John

If you simply want to rectify the present situation disconnect the cars battery. This is a new problem to me and might just be a one off! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Can we assume you have switched the phone off too so there is no connection to the car over BT?

Can you make another call via BT? Does it clear the screen doing it that way? L319 D4 HSE

I had thought of disconnecting (and then reconnecting) the battery but need to look in the manual for the bonnet catch first!

It did occur to me that this may creat some problem elsewhere such as the alarm or tracker so am reluctant at the mo if there is another fix.

The phone wont reconnect at all it seems just the car is jammed up.
i have turned the phone off totally but no difference.

There must be a reset somewhere, unless of course that is the battery!

Do you have the voice activated PTI?

If so, ask the voice system to "Phone dial number" and then try and dial something.

See if it unlocks it. L319 D4 HSE

There may well be, but disconnecting/reconnecting the battery should sort you out as long as you disconnect - pause - reconnect and don't leave it disconnected for any appreciable length of time.

Oh, and the bonnet catch is in the pax footwell, not the manual Wink
