The New BMW X3 M40i M40d

Has anyone moved over to the BMW new X3 from here?
I considered getting another Land Rover vehicle, but i just could bring myself to do with how JLR treat their customers and their attitude to sorting out their problems, so i have decided to look at the new X3 M40, more likely it will be the M40d model.
It really does tick a lot of my boxes as a daily vehicle. I had the M40i on demo for a week but with my style of driving i don't think i could get past the 18 mpg it was acheiving as my daily, so i have the M40d for this weekend which shows on paper to be much better on fuel with it being a diesel.

Video of the M40i. Awesome car.

My mate has a M140 and I like that (I know it’s not an X3 but probably the same engine), the only problem he’s had is the boot rattles bad, it’s been fixed once and within 6 months the closure watsit thingies failed again. He’s worried about his next 12 months insurance as others have reported a massive hike in costs. 2012 5.0 SC AB
