Just a quick note that might help someone. I've had an intermittent problem with the auto box on my 2005 2.7d RRS. It would not change gear automatically. When using the manual selector the gearbox worked perfectly. Also, I had a problem with one of the brake lights, the filaments were fine but when the tail light was on the brake light would not work. I've read a fair amount of stories about brake light bulbs causing weird and wonderful electrical faults......and this gearbox one can now be added to the list. New bulb for £2 from Land Rover and the gearbox issue is sorted!
